Then you could link it to /mw2/players/config_mp.cfg or /mw2/players/server.cfg . After downloading, you would sign out, then sign in to bypass the settings download and save the settings.

Well if you have known these codes why didn't you post them earlier? I still find it weird that you just happened to remember them 3 hours after my post. Listen, it's not like I'm asking you to delete your thread and give me all the credit, because you came up with a lot of it, however I am asking that you give me the appropriate ammount of credit just by putting my name next to the code or something.

CL is different from SV.

no actually these are used to download custom maps on the PC Version of COD4...since cod4 and mw2 use the same game engine, there are many things that were not taken out of the game files...like the CVARs

They download custom CFG's as well.

As I stated in my first post, this is because the one I found was on wiki and the one you found was on some other cvar list. Listen you may have already known your code, but you didn't think of posting till you saw my thread.

Ok whatever, but I just realized that this wont work. This is because the first game that hunter12 modded was cod5, and as we all know, cod5 is encrypted like crazy. This means that there would be no way to get this cvar into the game anyway. so THIS METHOD DOES NOT WORK. Sorry to bust my/your bubble
