Me and viper have past check summed and are now getting the files on the ps3 with a Gui server. We have figured out that checksummed is to do with the disk type e.g. BLES 00683 you need the correct pkg files for your disc type this is the reason why people are getting checksummed.
This may not be correct but its the only possible explanation for checksummed i can come up with. :mad::rolleyes:

Yh some tips will do good but not too much as it will get leached out.
Dont release the tut for these leeches man dont do that. They deserve worse.
UMM the disk ID basically is nothing to do with Checksum. Checksum error is when the PS3 detects the 1 Byte of data is not in the right place or may not be recognised by the PS3. Thus the PS3 gives the Black Scrren error or it wont extract the .pkg when installing.

Checksum has nothing to do with the Disk ID here, we edit one tiny tiny part of the patch, such as 1 byte, then we have a very different checksum. We need to get the same checksum for the editted and the normal, then it should install.
