There's something weird going on with my PS3.
I can rank up on MW2 but it will stay on the same rank, it shows current rank as 58 and next rank also as 58. The same thing is happening to my brother's account.
Does anyone know why this is happening and/or how I can fix it?
I haven't hacked or something.

I'm sorry but thats kinda funny. Have you filled the bar to rankup since this happened? And if so, did you unlock anything?

He filled the bar up again and now he's still 49 but it does say next rank 50, now let's hope it actually goes to 50 the next time.
Now I'll have to do 58->58, 58-58, 58->59 to get to 59 -.-

i've seen this before on WaW, its very rare.

in the last case the person was very low rank, and non-prestige so he just restarted the account.

i'm not sure what caused it, but he did **** about with his internet and ethernet cable alot previously before it happened(lag switch/ prestige glitch).

if your rank doesn't go up next time, you'll have to make a new account.

lol thats weird, ive once had something like that on cod 4, my xp bar would just go through the next bar. i did reset my ps3 then and it was gone.

Thats crazy, sorry man. You could try redownloading your account to your PS3, but I dobt really know how PS3 works so sorry If id doesnt help.

I went online and now it just sais next rank 59 instead of 58 like before
