You didn't really prove that wasn't a glitch. ALL glitches can be logically explained. Just read the source and it's suppose to happen. It's just whether you'd consider it a glitch or not. EVERYTHING is suppose to happen, even 'glitches.' The code explains why it does it. Your argument doesn't really disprove it. I can go and explain a glitch easily and just say why it works, but that doesn't mean it's not a glitch, just because something's logical?
The operation of the harrier in this "glitch" was chosen by the game developers. Other glitches like the shooting with equipment glitches and wall breaches are the real glitches; not intended by the developers/programmers. Here's the definition of a glitch:
