In order to create the ISO you need Linux on your PS3.
OtherOS doesn't have access to the GameOS. Sorry...

if you had a bluray drive/burner you could make a iso off it!i think it would read if you did it that way and mounted it on linux,im not saying i have tryed it but i think it would work

The file you want is ps3disc.iso by the way the rest are images.

The file is 7.5GB so make sure you have the space.

This maybe in the wrong section but I don't know at the moment.

But to start off I'm Kingcr3b on NGU and I released a theory/tut thats so incomplete most won't be hosting challenge/modded lobbies on PS3. Well anyways I read hunters old thread where he asked about PS3 ISO game mods. And it got closed and then when I told him about my method it was soon deleted.

But I gathered info that all ISOs are the same, and within the ISO is the patch_mp.ff file which you can mod. Well once you mod that file and save it with the same name it should be overwritten. Before you go any further you need to backup you PS3 with 3.40. Once you do that you can connect the external to your PC and put the ISO on it. With that ISO on you external HDD head back over to your PS3 and plug in your HDD and restore. You should be restoring the PS3 to get the ISO on, with that ISO it will transfer that modded patch to the disk. And you should be able to host lobbies.

And I came to this site to ask If anyone here has an ISO file so I can snoop through it. And test to see if this will work. Thanks greatly Kingcr3b.

Okay I am a friend of Kingcr3b and him and I were working on this and we came to the conclusion that this will not work because of the 4GB FAT32 limit. My original thread similar to this was deleted. Bizarre.
