Ok so last night in talking to hunter i asked him about his method he told me that ngu could suck it and that why would he release his hard work!

Well lets see his first post ever not long ago i might say was a desperate question on why cant the computer read ps3 files!

i mentioned something about it being easy never got a response.

The thing is its not hard to get your hands on a debug and its the easiest way to run/decompile code on the ps3! There are no need for singers on the code it will run. Dump the pkg on the debug decompile it grab the dumped files and mod them you then simply recompile the modded code and he debug will run it!

I think the reason that hunter is so Mad about this is because people think he did something impossible When if i'm correct he used Sony's Own debug Against them!

I have other things too!
PS. I might be close to hacking the psn rent time!

but its not a throy you can unpack the patch and rebuild it this way and as i said yes you can install the debug firmware on the retail ps3

can you make a video tutorial and also what are the restrictions does this work on a slim with the latest 3.41 or do we need a fat ps3 on a lower firmware then 3.21?

First, this is from another site. You didn't find or come up with it, a guy posted it (somewhere I'm not saying) without checking dates on his post I want to say years ago.

Second, Yes. You are correct you can install Debug FW on a Retail. That is Fact.
Another fact, you have not said. Which is the Main reason this is a Theory is becuase you ahve in fact NOT done this yourself. That is. That MOST of the Debug features don't work on the retail, don't believe me? Go back and read that site you copied this from.

Last, well that pretty much says it, it is a theory only. Because no one has "proven" this to 'hack' mw2. Which is the section you posted on.

It you don't want it to be a theory Please post it in the PS3 Hacking Section. And Give credit to the Founder also.

I have a old 60gb hard drive from the old ps3 fat, it had a low firmware on it as I remember cause I never updated it.

You can do this..Must have older FW. A guy founded this back in the day. But most of the Debug features don't work.
