I was getting so annoyed by people knifing that I decided to write a little guide specifically against it. Hopefully one day everyone will have the skill to use a gun.

The Enemy: These idiots run around like mindless drones using only knifes. Some people will even use the care package to run faster! Watch out for those guys. I'll always give them bad rep. Anyway a knifer will always use the perks Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando. They will either use a sniper rifle or an SMG as their main weapon to run at maximum speed. Most of the time they'll use a throwing knife for their equipment, so be careful! And of course, they will always use a handgun with the tactical knife attachment for quicker melee recovery. The UAV is a major help to them as they can find you anywhere on the map unless you have Cold-Blooded.

Countermeasures:
Heartbeat Sensors - Knifers will always use Commando as their third perk so they will always be visible to heartbeat sensors. Adapting this tactic can let you know were the knifer is before they can see you.
Shotguns - 99% of the time, shotgun > knife. They pack a punch at close range so they are an excellent countermeasure against knifers. The AA-12, M1014, Ranger, and Striker are all good choices because they are all automatic/semi-automatic.
Thermal - Since a knifer will always use Lightweight as their second perk, they are vulnerable to thermal sights. This can help spot a knifer with a ghillie suit on a grassy map such as Wasteland or Underpass.
Range - This is your most powerful tool against knifers, since they are basically harmless and long range. I always use an assault rifle or a sniper rifle to take them out before they get too close. If you know someone on the enemy team is knifing, try to stick together with your team and not by yourself in the open.
Claymore Positioning - Never put a claymore too close to the doorway, as the knifer can almost always run past it and kill you anyway. Plant your claymores away from the door frame but out of sight.

Yeah I know, sorry man. I was just bumping some of my old guides and such that never get any attention but I did not know the rules but now I do.

But 2 point infraction is too much I think. I mean I see people do things WAY worse and not even get a warning and if they do get in trouble it is sometimes only a warning or 1 point infraction and they do it on purpose.

When you see a knifer, just strafe. Commando seems to always miss when you strafe.

my tip:

place claymore - OMA - place C4 on top of claymore

no rushers can outrun that
