(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, as youll be aware, OMA (one man army) is taking over the game, and in my opinion it getting oout of hand. Fair enough, use it properly and its a half decent perk, but acomponied with the perk danger close and "noob tubes", its just plain annoying.

Well, the end maybe near!. I was reading "Robert Bowling's twitter page (the man in charge of everything) and here are a few qoutes i found from a conversation he had with a few fellow tweeters:

tweeter 1 @1fourzerotwo Are there plans to patch Oma within the next month,

Mr. Bowling repleid:

Yeah. We've been testing and experimenting with multiple OMA tweaks looking for the best solution. I'll post ETA when I know one.

tweeter 2 @fourzerotwo Robert, please be honest. Is there going to be a meaningful patch (Addressing OMA + Boosting abuse) to MW2 before Black Ops?

Robert replied:

That's the plan and what I'm pushing for. Making progress and should have ETA soon on when it'll happen.

tweeter 3 @fourzerotwo Robert how goes the proposal to get rid of One Man Army refilling Grenade Launchers?

to which he replied:

@TheendsFanboy It goes well. We're testing what should be the final tweak to OMA. If that goes through, I'll post when to expect an update.

So, by the looks of things, within the next few weeks there will be no more OMA danger close "noob tubes".

Is this a start to a long road of Modern Warfare 2 re-vamping? hopefully more issues will be fixed.

Ill keep you up to date on the ETA of the patch.

Also in the news, Mr. Bowling announced new Hardcore game modes will be coming to PS3 Playlists soon (within the next month apparently)

These game modes include hardcore FFA and more;though he reported a few little bugs so lets hope they get them fixed.

*******NOTE: There is not a single copy and paste jobby on this post (apart from the qoutes lol), it is entirely my own work and took a lot of time and effort to put this together.

thanks.

Vault dweller
hopefully they fix it by making noobtubes perk 1
so that the noobtubes noobs also can't use scavenger anymore and they only have 2 Happy

I don't use the ump45 cuz I can't get used to the iron sights, but what should they patch about it? I don't think it's too powerful at all.

Although I don't believe in the whole "overpowered" guns argument, especially since say a gun like the FAMAS or M16, they are beastly at medium to long ranges. But if someone is close up or if they are moving you'd have to be a good shooter to kill.

The UMP45 is fine as is really. The only overpowered thing in this game is One Man Army Noobtubing, and Commando if used with Lightweight/Marathon even though it still takes some skill to bring a knife to a gun fight lol

The UMP isnt overpowered? Where the hell have you been since the game came out, that gun can snipe someone across the map with 3 bullets

I know exactly what it can do. The FAMAS, M16 and FAL+Holo can do the same thing.

And you're exaggerating, the UMP does have some crazy range but it takes a really good player to shoot with it across the map with success.

Noobtubing is overpowered. Hell the range of the Spas-12 + 1 shot killing seems overpowered. The point is all guns can't be equal and they have their disadvantages.

I use the Tar 21, I tried the UMP for a little. Even though it kills easily without stopping power I can't get used to the sights and it wasn't easy for me to shoot from long ranges

Easy fix for OMA noobtubing, just dont let OMA reload on OMA. It can only change the other class just same class again.

Hardcore FFA? What a nightmare...

As for the UMP I don't think its overpowered, there's a lot worse guns on the game. People complain about everything being either overpowered or two weak.

FourZeroTwo? The man in charge of everything? Ha! People do not understand this guys job... HE DOES NOTHING BUT TALK! When they was trying to fill the job, they said "Lets find a bald douche thats so much of a fag he can relate to 12 yr olds & frat boys(Both make up FPS's majority)" Robert Bowling has no part in making the game. He sits on his fat@$$ & tweets. Occasionally, he'll talk to the real developers & cry that were flaming & crowding him. Then they throw out a useless patch to keep you guys quiet. They can't patch anything cause the main members of the development team quit cause activision destroyed the game before it even came out.

Yes, OMA is only good for reloading your magazines not for noobtubes. People that use oma for noobtubes please get a life and take a gun and kill people with it BY FIREING IT.
