What we do know is that IW talks to SONY about making Every Ps3 user NEEDED to Download the patch.
Thats it.

And we also know they edit the .ff Patch. (The .PKG cant be edited)
(Edit the models 1887 Range for eg.)

What we need to know is How is Sony or IW putting it on the Ps3?

Through, the SERVERS, so. Basically sending the patch to servers of sony, and boom new update, or mp..

Game makers create their patch.

They send it to Sony to look at. They don't just upload to sony and poof.

IW makes it with their programmers + notepad (most likely) lol

But Sony does look at the stuff before they sign it and release it. That is why the patches for all consoles are not released at the same time.
