Pretty much, those of you from the community who usually play public games vs those pros who are in competetive clans and signed up on CG/GB etc. And usually play Clan Battles (CB's are a shitload more fun than Pub games)

Gives the Pubs a chance to experience the competitive side of MW2, and gives the Pros the chance to kick some asses.


Seems a bit one sided in favour of the Pros? Well then we'll add ONE restriction applying to pros only, eg: For one game we could make it "Pros can't use any Primary Attachments" or "Pros can only use Frags as equipment"


If enough people are interested I'll organise more including necessary Vbux donation PER TEAM, team size, people to host, restrictions, prizes etc.

I'm a decent pub player (or like to think so) but have always said I would try out GB (without ever getting round to do it) and I think this is a great idea for people in the same situation as me. Of course at first most pub players won't waltz in and beat the guys who have been doing that for a while however I believe some could hold their own against the lesser talented (correct word?) GB players after a short while.

Yeah that's the whole point of this. So the Pubs can get a taste of competitive gaming. That means the whole experience, with the same restrictions, to see if they like competitive MW2 and want to join a competiive clan.

This is a really good idea. It might encourage pub players to see what competitive matches are really like.

Yeah I know the guy who actually organised the original TF2 event, got a Valve Community Wrench (Community Weps are ones you get for contributing to the community) His mate designed the poster and got a knife and his other friend rented the servers and got a Sticky Bomb launcher.

But on topic: I can't participate in the MW2 one because I'm in Aus and I have shit connection as it is to people INSIDE Aus, don't even need to bother with overseas.
