I dont see this as much of a problem because I rarely die from Grenade launchers. If you want to decrease your chances of death by Newb-tube and possible rage quit follow my steps and you'll be enjoying mw2 much better soon enough

First off, learn to accept it. The grenade launcher is not going away anytime soon, so the sooner you learn to accept its existence the better. By acknowledging the fact that the noob-tube exists will make those times where you might get killed just another death rather than a rage quit moment.

Next we will work on the class setup. The biggest key to surviving a Noob-tube blast is of-course Blast shield. I love blast shield and use it on nearly all of my classes. Think about it, what other purpose could you use that equipment slot for? Throwing random grenades? Camping with your claymores? Camping with your insertions?!? The point is, although grenades maybe helpful in some situations, blast shield is helpful in nearly every game type, nearly all game. If you want to survive 95% of Grenade launcher shots, Blast Shield will be your biggest ally in the fight against the GL. Also another tip for your class. If you want to avoid a "payback" Noob-tube Use a silencer and cold-blooded

Now on to the location and gameplay style. First of all, use your blast shield at all times. The only time you should be without your blast shield is when you see no enemies and need to scout one out. Another tip for avoiding the GL is staying out of high traffic areas (I.E. the Cave on wasteland) Instead patrol the edges of these areas and pick of the enemies that run into them. This will make you a less likely target for the Grenade launcher. Next step to survive in the world of the Noob-tube is moving frequently. Surely after you kill a few enemies some of them will divert their attention (and GL's) to your area, and will not rest until you are killed. So just move around frequently. Pick up a few kills, run to a new spot, rinse and repeat.

So there you go everyone. This is the way I play MW2, and I've learned to play with the Noobtube, and accept it. Just follow steps in this post and you'll have the newbies wondering "how" by the end of the game.

This post did take a while to type, so thanks and a little rep is always appreciated

True, but the only time you survive is if they don't shoot by your foot & that's less likely to happen (unless they totally suck at it) lol.

It all depends, this is my strategy i use and i would say less than 10% of my deaths come from the grenade launcher
