(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); rember when the ps3 got hacked on a firmware that could run otheros. well has anyone thought that buy looking at the system rather than mw2 for hacks he meant look at homebrew and runing unsigned code?

Yeah but still, if he's using homebrew, he'd have to edit the game itself in some way i think..
It might be possible (idk, so don't kill me for failing :p ) to have a homebrew-enabled ps3 with some sort of "patch blocker" so you can still sign without updating your ps3..

You have to think like this. Running Homebrew on a PS3 would be a lot bigger than hacking MW2.

Hunter also has a homebrew ps3 on 2.70 firmware.

He was explaining how he had 4 ps3s and what fws they where on and he said something along the lines of:
and one on 2.70 (homebrew ftw!)

which could make possible to go edit the way a game runs on the system, instead of hacking the game itself..
damn, looks like i'm of to buy a 2nd PS3 :p

right..
but we're talking about hunter here.. he's half of the guys who got the hacks working.. if he pulled that off, he might have somehow hacked his 2.70 FW ?

You can search online. There is absolutely 'no' iso loaders. No way to play burnt game. No way to run homebrew. And 'No' true proof of custom fw. (Yes I'm aware of what geohot did).

Also. Hunter has said on a post that he updated to 3.30.
