I have it installed and the latest alter patch i can run the game fine..Just don't know what is next...Files to me is layed out oddly...

Anyknow know a way, or link...

AlterIWNET:

I don't use AlterIWNET much but what I know is you need to paste your mods in the root directory in a folder called mods.

Load the game and type in some Dvars into the console which I don't remember what they are exactly.

Steam:

For the Steam version its a little more tricky and time consuming.
Note: Ultimately you will most likely get banned.

1. Go You must login or register to view this content. and and download the file called Modern Warfare 2 Liberation. (Successor to Vac Chaos)

2. Learn the basics to Mw2 Scripting/Modding.
I would recommend some sites but I believe it is against the rules.

Cause I didn't. I just (Got) the Game, added that patch that someone had on here (can't remeber the name). But was alterIW patch. INstalled that.

Ran the game, let it update...

And that is basically where I'm at.

Ohh if you are not trying to play online on Steam then get Mod Loader from the same site I posted above.
