I notice when i'm using Sitrep Pro, I can barely/can't hear my footsteps compared the the way i hear without it. So is it me or what? SORRY IF IT'S A DUMB POST :derp: I'll +rep whoever replies ;]

it does a lil bit but ninja pro is better for make you more silent then sitrep

It doesn't reduce yours at all, but then it doesn't increase it, and because your hearing everyone else's 4x louder, you won't be able to hear your own as much therefore making it sound as if it's been reduced

Sitrep Pro is without a doubt my favourite perk in MW2, and I use it on every one of my classes haha.
It mutes (practically) your own and team-mates footsteps so that if you hear any footstep nearby, you can instantly know that its an enemy. Unbelievably handy.
However, I have had the shit scared out of me at times such as on desert/snow maps, team-mate footsteps are slightly louder than other maps, and may sometimes cause a bit of confusion haha.
EDIT: Forgot to say, your own/team-mates footsteps are NOT reduced at all to any other player. Just because you can't hear your own footsteps, doesn't mean no-one else can

Happy to help seeing as I have a lot of experience with Sitrep haha. (Unlocked the emblem legit ages ago)

My Turtle Beach headset lets me hear people's footsteps, it's like having sitrep without having sitrep. :black:

i think you are actually hearing your footsteps when u think ur hearing someone elses. i dont use sitrep pro so i really wouldnt know but it sounds like thats ur prob:tits:

I never use sit rep but it doesn't make enemy footsteps any louder.

You sure you've tried SitRep Pro?
