(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so Hunter or Unkn0wn has got back into the business of hosting lobbies and so on. I have recently been infected and i just wish i could keep the speed hack.
Well i woke up this morning and thought abit about it. Well time to spill it; Okay so we know that when u are infected the infection is added into ur patch. therefore allowing u too play a million private matches unless you play online or just turn off u PS3.
The infection deletes itself when u download 'Game Setting' which overwrites ur patch with the IW Servers one.
By saying this, would it work if we decrypted our HDD get the infected patch out. Make a backup/Save and re-encrypt it when needed. So then we can host our own speed lobby's but there is still a speed hump, Because as soon as u start playing MW2 it will download setings.
Well i heard along time ago that unkn0wns patch blocker blocked u from downloading Game settings. Therefore ur infected patch wont be deleted.
Well then u host a private match with ur friend. Infect him and then turn off ur PS3, close patchblocker and then re-join his session and VOILA. SPEED HACK.
Soo tell me what u guys think.....

for anyone saying the speed hack is in the patch: NO!!! if it was then it wouldn't get erased... getting erased= temporary memory meaning PS3 NAND... like unkn0wn clearly stated but people didnt see

And double xp is started through playlist update since it ended before the latest patch. don't even bother arguing this point since everyone should know it.

and no this method is not going to get GSC's into the patch or run GSC script while playing... for any1 thinking this is another challenge lobby etc thread...

hope that cleared some points up in a summary

Wouldn't work as first off, when you quit the game, the infection gets erased. And for all the people that says this isn't in the patch, it is. This is why they're able to patch infections. Think about JTAGED xbox's, they do infections via patch editing, so it's the same for the ps3. The reason why they get reset, is do to a few codes in the patch that automatically resets some of the dvars. This code however can't be used to reset all the dvars. It needs to be entered for each hack. They only put the code with a couple of the known hacks at the start like super jump. They then slowly added more, as more codes were released and used.

kinda fail since it isnt in the patch..... its stored on the NAND like unkn0wn said a few posts back!!!!! thats why its temporary till u join a new game!!!!! and they patch it with a playlist update not another patch..... please read over whats been said before you post...

EDIT: but it is started via a patch.... u are correct about that

This is why we are getting nowhere! We are all listening to the people that told us that they will not release how to do it. I refuse to listen to Hunter12 and TheUnknown. They may be brilliant hackers, but they wont be doing anything to help us out, and that's for a good reason. I think that we should just forget about them for now and try and do what WE think we should do. Also, a playlist update, updates the patch. When you play on the updated playlist, it then updates your patch. This is my theory on how infections are started and how to hack the game. What I think hunter/TheUnknown did was make it so that they created a custom playlist update that when they played on it, it made them download their custom patch. A playlist update has no checksum or signature, so those wont be a problem.

wrong choice dude... unkn0wn hasn't lied once so you should follow his advice!!!! hunter has but i guess that's just hunter :p

unkn0wn wants people to figure it out for themselves and for once not have a tutorial.... he is a good man dude and i'm serious you should believe him. no-one is getting anywhere because they didn't follow his last to bits of advice which you know what they are.. people are still looking at patches and mw2 and should be looking into the system!!!!!

and playlist updates aren't GSC coding... GSC is the coding in the patch but we need to stop being blinded by wanting to ignore their advice.

EDIT: the temporary data is in the NAND not the patch.... seriously dude accept it...

TheUnknown is a very wise man, and that's why it took him about only a week and a half to figure it out. Hunter is most likely a lot less skill full than TheUnknown and that's why it took him so long. He did it without any other advice from anyone. One of the biggest reasons that we can seem to figure it out is because we don't have a ps3 on fw lower than 3.1.5. It is possible to do it on the latest fw, but I have been following hunter from the start and he has said that it is a lot harder on the latest fw. Both TheUnknown and Hunter12 did it on their lower fw ps3's first then figured out how to do it via the same method later, just the second time, it was a lot harder.

true but to my knowledge unkn0wn and hunter are using up to date consoles. may not be correct but im 65% sure.
and anyway dude follow what you think is correct i cant change your views i'm just saying to many people are still looking over game hacks and not system hacks.. and most of hunters posts are back at the hdd method... he stopped posting after that since im pretty sure unkn0wn and hunter kept their heads down and eventually figured it out... but im 100% sure it aint the hdd method since me and brendanj spent months on it... he got further than me since i was limited to 3.30,3.40 and 3.41 but anyway no1 should be wasting their time on that and i also spent a month doing every possible way with the pkg but its a dead end to... so we should be looking at something completely new...

Hunter and TheUnknown are using up-to-date consoles now, but they started out with lower fw. Also you said you were limited to the higher fw and spent months on it and didn't get anywhere. Hunter spent about 3 months using the lower fw and said that it was harder on the more up-to-date fw. This means that if he started out on the higher fw, it would have taken him a lot longer. I still believe that it has to do with the patch as this is not just game modding, it is system modding. If you can get the patch method to work for one game, you can get it to work for all. Hunter found out how to do it on cod5 and within about a week he realized that he could do it on all the games. Also there is a file in the patch itself that resets dvars and cvars that could have been changed via a different way.
