It wouldn't recognise them. I went to check if I had deleted the patch and a MW2 file had crept in there, no mention on its size either, and it was downloaded whilst I was booting up MW2, no problem I thought, I deleted it and tried again, but it re-appeared. It seems this is preventing me from doing any split-screen required hacks, is this just my PS3 being messed up/me doing it wrong, or is that file stopping me?

No thats a 46kb Patch file. everyone gets it when they do prestige hack. I think its so the IW servers think that there is still a patch there

yea just de-corrupt your files and try again

The Disc Patch, you won't delete the IW patch..
