I did an across-map throwing knife and whatta you know, i get a HIT MARKER WTF!, so yeah it was weird and no i didnt throw a stun grenade straight after. Have you guys done this?.. oh and btw it was online not private match

You could have hit an explosive, and that exploded and damaged but didn't kill an enemy. Very unlikely, but just as unlikely as a cross-map throwing knife I guess.

When somebody is about to go into last stand or final stand. For some reason, during that transition they have some sort of invincibility against knives and throwing knives

If it was a painkiller hitmarker, you didn't specify, that does happen.

See a throwing knife for some reason is a one hit kill and then there are stuff like painkiller and final stand. Thats why I play BC2.

Painkiller doesn't affect throwing knives the same way they don't affect knife attacks....

u get a hit marker if its long range an bounces a few times or laststand when there going down or explosives
