I used to play it all the time on CoD4, but I switched to FFA in Mw2 when the game is released, because I wanted to get my Kills up real high. Now, being level 70 9th Prestige, with everything for every gun, all the titles and emblems I want, (Exception of Attack Heli, Stealth Bomber, and Javelin Golds), I play what game mode is the most fun for me, and what I'm best at. So I think I'll shed some light on how to be a BEAST on Search and Destroy. The first thing, if you are the Defending the bomb, or bombsite, You are allowed to camp! The second thing, learn to use the FAL, it's a 3 shot kill at long range, and a 2 shot kill from close to medium, with cold blooded. It's a great gun, you can shoot as fast as you can press R1, you might surprise yourself on how fast you can press the button. :beer:

So, I'll explain how to defend, and offend, and a good class for the both.

Defending: If you are defending, you'll want this class above ANYTHING else:
FAL: Holographic, Silencer, Cold Blooded, Ninja.
With: AA-12 Extended Mags, FMJ.
Flash x2, C4.

The first round of defense is the toughest. You don't know anything about your opposing team, if they like to rush, grenade launch, snipe, move as a group, lone wolf it, riot shield, or camp.
The best way to approach defense in the first round is to find a place where you can watch either bomb site, but is not too far from your spawn, and a place where you don't stick out like a sore thumb. You'll want to try to catch the enemy off guard trying to plant. It's not about the kills, it's about securing the bomb. If you kill the guy planting, he obviously had the bomb. The enemy team will have to plant that bomb. Don't try to venture off and get kills, because they will have to come get that bomb. I would lay a C4 pack hidden in the dead guy's body by the bomb, as a fail-safe plan, or just to get a nice blast. Do this and you'll find yourself 1-0.

For the next 2 defensive rounds, you'll either want to guard a high traffic area, or stay close to a bomb. If you are guarding the high traffic area, lay down in an unobvious place, with your FAL and pick off the rushers. If you are close to a bomb site, lay out your C4 in a place where it can't be easily seen, but still in close proximity to the bomb. Then you'll want to find a good spot to lay down where you can defend that bomb. I would recommend doing one the 2nd round, then switching in the 3rd. Do it right and you'll be 3-0.

Now you are offending.
You will need a Marathon, Lightweight, Ninja, UMP45 silenced, with and Extended Mags AA-12. Yes it is frowned upon by some to use this, but it will get you the win, so who cares? Get your whole team to rush, all together, like you're returning a kickoff in football. Trust me, there is nothing more intimidating than 6 guys running at you all with UMP45s. You'll want to be spaced out enough so that a noobtoob can only take out one guy. Once you kill the guys near the chosen bombsite, have the planter plant, and then have some guys camp near it, and the others set up a perimeter. Kill them off and you'll have won 4-0.

Now. What if you are Offending when the match starts?

What you're going to want to do for the first round is choose your FAL class, and get out of your spawn, and find a mid way point between their spawn and yours. Don't get into their spawn, get a feel of how they are playing. Just play it safe, take your time to plant the bomb. You should be able to win. It's 1-0. Now, you are going to want to do the all out rush, as mentioned above, the enemy will not expect it. Then you should be 2-0. For the next round, the enemy might be expecting a rush, and will want to play rush defense, because of the wipeout you just did, so you aren't going to want to do that again. So, choose your FAL class, run the way you would if you were to rush, but find some cover, close to a bomb site. Don't venture any further past the bomb site. Set up a perimeter again, and wait. The enemy will probably come out of their hiding to find you. Kill them if you see them. When a few are killed, plant the bomb. Have one or two guys go to anywhere that will get them from the other bombsite to where the bomb was planted, so if they were camping at let's say A, they will need to get to B in order to defuse. Try to have a guy covering any route to get to the bomb, and always have a guy staying at the bomb. Do this, and you'll be 3-0. Now, Switching sides. For the last round, you should just stick close to the bomb, and cover the ways to get there. It's pretty simple, but not entirely easy, you need good reaction time, and good shooting skills. Doing this will get you another 4-0 win.

Things to remember: Try to get your friends together and play in a party of 6, It's not about how many kills you get, it's about the objective. The kills will not win you the round, as often as playing the objective will. Never let little pissed off kids get to you. They can use words to try to get you to change your gameplay, just because they simply cannot match your gameplay. This might not work for you, but it's what works for me, time and time again. Don't give up if it fails at first, it'll be worth it to keep trying.

EXACTLY. its ridiculous how quick scoping became the measure of how good someone is at the game. makes no sense...

It's because it's all of the lame ass 12 year olds that make accounts like xXxx-3L1tee3_--SC0p3zZz-_xX, beg their parents to get them a mic so they can talk to other 12 year olds, that group up and try to Quickscope like they're Optic. And when anyone doesn't try to play like them, they go on a rampage about how using GUNS is being a noob. I mean, when did this happen, Guns were widely accepted and used in CoD4, and for W@W, who actually snipes in that game? It's just Mw2. Then they all start telling me that I'm a 9th prestige noob, even though I have 15 gold titles, 97,000 kills, and they're a hacked tenth prestige with the "Prestige 10" and Skull emblem. And then, let's say I quickscope one of them. Then he'll be screaming at me, telling me to 1v1 him. Then sometimes I'll be like what the hell, I'll just go kick his ass. (I'm actually a great quickscoper, just that's not how I like to play) So, he'll bring all of his prepube buddies, to watch. So we'll start the match, and I'll be up maybe 4-nil. That's when the excuse come in. I'm lagging, (Lie, I have a 35mb/s connection) you're hardscoping (No, watch the killcam) It's my first game, (No, you were just playing SnD) you have an aimbot (ehh?) you're spawn killing me (It's still a kill). Finally after listening to that I'll be up about 19-6. Then I'll hear 360 last kill! 360 last kill! 360 last kill! 360 last kill! He'll just be wailing that out so he can try to get another kill. He might kill me once, and he'll be like yeah b****! I'm gonna win now you noob! Not so much, me being a try hard and all, I'll just pull of a nice 720 G-Shot before he get's another kill. Now, I've just won 20-7. Then there's 5 of his friends all wanting to 1v1 me, and he's wanting a rematch. So I don't get ANY kind of congradulations, not even "Nice Job." He just has to regain that dignity to make him believe that He's as good as Optic. But no, I'll just leave and remove him. He'll probably send me a message telling me that I'm chickening out or something like that. But oh well, that's where it stops.
Now, I just don't waste my time on these kids anymore. Thank god for mute and block.

Did you guys know that when your host, you aim faster than the enemy.
So if someone ever ask you to Qs them make sure you are host or my friend you will
loose. ^
