(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); as you kno.. xbox has the XeXmenu that loads up the mp_patch.xex right?

so instead of trying to get SELFmenu or whatever on the ps3.. would burning the mp_patch.self on a disk and then putting the disk in the ps3 and loading it up work... im pretty sure it wouldnt be as easy as it sounds as you would have to make it so the ps3 reads it as a game.

this is a new theory which i would try.. but my computer with a burner has a virus on it and wont turn on.. ill get it back soon and try to do this but im sure one of you will kno how to try this

It would be easier maybe to write the xex to load a PS3 configured menu and try that to load the mp__patch.mf file, might need to change it to somethign else to make it read.

Thanks for the input and suggestions.

I have JTAG hooked into my Mainboard at CL4001 - CL4006

So I will give the menu option a shot.

You must login or register to view this content.

this is where the JTAG has the best change of sucess, limit your power levels to 3.3VDC, and make sure the TRST line = 0 volts as it is a negative response signal, if it is ever true or high (3.3 Volts) the data will be rejected.
