Okay so this thread is a guide about everything I have come to know about the playlist on CODMW2, "Search and Destroy". I myself have very much come to enjoy this game because of 5 major things:

1. Great game for leveling up.

2. Really tests your skill level all MW2.

3. It is very strategic.

4. It feels amazing when you get a lot of kills.

5. It's just......fun


Now, when I say that it is great for leveling up, i mean it! Domination is good i mean you get 150 points for getting a flag and 15 points every 5 seconds if you are dominating. That's like 5000 points a game. I know people also enjoy Demolition because it levels you up quite fast as well. If you win a game 2-0 that gives you a match bonus of almost 9000! However, I particularly enjoy search and destroy because if you destroy a Pavelow with Danger Close on that is 5000 points right there. That's a whole domination game in one Pavelow. You also get 500 just for being last alive or a kill thats 10 kills in Demolition! Also, did you know that a headshot is 1000 points? And planting or defusing a bomb is 1000 points? Amazing!

When I say that search and destroy tests your skill level, i mean it. Games like Team Deathmatch and Free for All are quite easy in my point of view simply because, unless you are attempting to get killstreaks, running around with Scavenger and just killing everyone in sight to get points for your team is pretty easy. Game like Domination and Demolition are pretty easy to. I mean, just go to an unprotected bomb/flag and stay there for 5 seconds and your good. search and destroy really tests your skill because it combines the skill test of killing and completing objectives.






If you are tenth prestige and have 10 classes, good for you! However, on the fortunate side, there are only about 6-7 classes that you need for a search and destroy. You can use the other 3 for boosting, glitching, or whatever you could want.


If you are a person that likes to get the bomb and "Infiltrate" (invade the enemies slowly) then this first class is going to be a good class for you.

UMP45 is a great gun with a great iron sight that is very helpful with infiltrating an enemy. I would recommend a silencer because infiltrating is basically invading with about being scene similar to that of spies. Stinger is just for XP because no secondary is that useful here. I chose Marathon because your invading, i chose cold blooded to protect you from UAVs, and i chose SitRep to avoid traps.




If you are a person that likes to go around the map quitely without the bomb, here is the class for you.

Class #2- Protection (Escort Class)

This class is used to basically escort the player with the bomb to whatever bomb site you attend on "visiting". I choose Scar-H because it is important to use a strong, powerful weapon upon close encounters. I choose heartbeat to see where everyone is and silencer to hide yourself. One shot with this M9 is a one shot kill because it has FMJ and Akimbo. I choose Bling, obviously, and stopping power to due the possibility of a 2 v 1, and Commando just because it seems to be the best one.


If you are a person who likes to snipe people then this is the class for you.

This class MUST be done 100% right with all of the Pros for the Perks. Sleight of Hand pro helps you scope faster and Steady aim pro makes you aim for a longer period of time. FMJ on your Intervention gives it a one shot kill.



A lot of people rarely witness the usage of Riot Shields. However, that does not mean that the Riot Shield is bad for just about everyone has a Riot Shield class.

This class is very good because it controls the enemy. O_o. Yah well if they shoot a semtex or a C4 on you just put on your blast shield and you will live. Also, With commando your riot shield will be stronger. By process of eliminatin, i picked marathon because SOH and OMA and Scav dont work with Riot Shields.



These classes are used alot for Offensive purposes, so lets get to my two favorite defensive classes. The first being a Defensive Class.

Okay so this class isn't the most stable, but it can be effective if you use it properly. Unfortunetly, once you have Bling Pro the effect wont change. Also, no perks in red make sense so i choose Hardline. Finally, scrambler is important so i recommend it.



One of the most famous classes used on Call of Duty for defense or just for anything is called the Ghost Class. It is a class where you must remain hidden at all times.

Any sub-machine gun would be good for this. I just believe that Vector does the most damage. Slieght of Hand gets you around quicker and a quick 1 v 1 advantage. Cold Blooded and Ninja hide you from just about every aspect they have except for there seight.



The final class I will show you is the, in my opinion, most famous class in modern warfare 2: The Rush Class.
