In multiplayer, the FAL is unlocked at Level 28. While this rifle's semi-automatic nature reduces its effectiveness at close range, an experienced player with a fast trigger finger can easily double tap an enemy in close range without aiming down the sights. This same semi-automatic firing allows the player to control how much ammo is used and increases the FAL's effectiveness at long range, even though the shooter must pause briefly between shots to let the recoil settle. Because of this long-range prowess, the FAL closes the gap between assault rifles and sniper rifles.
The FAL is the strongest assault rifle with a damage range of 55-35, and as such, Stopping Power has a minimal effect. Shots will always kill in two hits at close and medium range, but three are required for a long range kill, regardless of the use of Stopping Power. However, with Stopping Power, the FAL is able to achieve one hit kills with a headshot. Moreover, like the UMP45, the FAL is one of the few non-sniper weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that can kill in a maximum of three shots regardless of range, perks, or attachments.
The Red Dot Sight is not properly aligned on the FAL, as shots land below and to the right of the dot. The Holographic Sight increases the FAL's minimum damage to 40, which, when using Stopping Power, gives two-hit-kills at all ranges. This includes Bling combinations such as a silencer or Grenade Launcher.

I could have sworn that it's a 3 hit kill sometimes, but putting holographic sight on it puts it to a 2 hit kill all of the time.

it's a 3-shot kill at longer ranges with and without stopping power unless you put on the Holo sight, which makes it 2 shots at any distance if and only if you have stopping power (40 x 1.4) + (40 x 1.4) = 56 + 56 = 112 damage

i love using the FAL, only downfall to me using is always getting told i have a modded controller because i'm so trigger happy and unload 5-7 rounds on a person at a time.... i don't have modded controller btw, i used to not like the FAL but now that i'm used to it its so easy to kill with, i've been working on the extended mags for it for awhile now, i'm almost there only 5 more to go 
I think it'll be worth all the work.. i have two classes for it, one with danger close, and one with cold blooded, no i don't have a tube attached for dc class i have a secondary at4 and claymores on the class lol, i use the at4 to kill spawn snipers on SnD, make em think twice about complaining to me about my hardscoping

This is a good guide its just that im sure White Bolt will show some good specs especially if he has enough time to put the effort in.
Im not sure you could improve much from your guide though, you have said all that could be said.
