(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know this is going to sound stupid.. I feel stupid thinking about it..

But I've been playing just horribly, screwed with connection-nothing, played at different times- nothing, gave it a break-worse, changed mindset-still nothing.

so my mom's bf's kid is coming to stay for the weekend so I take my ps3 and unhook it from the 50'' plasma and hook it back up to my 20'' old standard TV right! and bam 18/5 14/3 20/5 16/2 *the last couple games I have played*

call me crazy, but 2morrow I am going to go back to the plasma and try again.. Do you guys thing that the TV size could really make a difference at all?

This happened to me before, I tried everything putting the settings down changing the ps3 settings but it didn't work. But affter like 6 months of laggin i changed my tv's display. I don't know what its called but its the ARC button on my controller. Change that to auto and ur ps3 video settings to 16:4 makes a world of difference

when you have a bigger tv its harder to see every thing as a whole, but w'e i can't play on my 47 in anymore because i started playing on my 32 inch alot more, and i seem to do amazing every game on my 32... so i don't switch back.

but yes HD you can notice things like little glitches where body parts stick through walls and such

20 inch tube tv = crt. CRT's have no lag.

+1. Game mode shuts off all video processing, thereby reducing lag; unfortunately it does not completely eliminate it.

YES I DO!! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! Sorry for caps. I usually play in my game room on a bulky tv that ive had for like 3 years and play with composite cables and IMO I rape on that tv. But when I head down to my beach house and play in the living room on the HD TV still with composite cables, the sensitivity I usually play on (Cool Man (aka Tustin) feels like freaking 300 sensitivity and I have to play on Medium sensitivity and cant play MW2 for shit so I get stuck playing Halo all vacation. So YES! Finally I find out that I'm not the only one that gets that problem.

Thanks to everyone who has posted and all future posts!! I have noticed a-lot of people seem to feel the smaller TV is better. I think my issue isn't TV lag I think it's just to big of a TV and the chair isn't back far enough for me to really take it all in, will test and report back.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well never mind on test for TV lag I've read on a different couple sites that the lag is caused by playing on an HD TV with a system that doesn't support(or setup in) HD

I'm lucky enough to have a top of the line Mitsubishi 55". But I would have to say the MAIN things that will change gameplay is the light's glare on the TV, your Hz, definition, and picture settings.

When ur playing on a small TV your Closer to it compared to the Big Screen. Also the small screen is smaller to so you can see everything without even moving ur eyes or focusing so its relay better on a small screen but i like my HD Smile
