Post: How Many People...

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Put their clan tags as 9/11 today? Me personally saw a whopping total of 1 /facepalm . Really? One person respected what happened today 9 years ago and decided to put that in their clan tag. Thats just pathetic. Over 5,000 people lost their lives and all of their family had to live with the fact of their loved one being killed in a terrorist attack. I truly was disgusted today. More people need to recognized what actually happened so here is a video summing it up.

Sorry but i dont see the point of putting 9/11 in ur Clan Tag
its just a game called mw2 and its the network

if u really wanna show respect to the people that riskd their lives to safe peoples life than go in a curch and pray for those heros and for the people that have lost their lives

9/11 will always be in our mind

exactly. its a videoGAME! you shouldnt be disgusted at it. putting a clan tag as 9/11 shouldnt be peoples way of expressing respect on a game that lets you shoot civilians (no russian)

The main reason i was disgusted is the fact that people would laugh and say that 9/11 was their favorite holiday

Because many people did not is not a sign of disrespect but what is shocking is the number of people that did show total contempt towards people who wanted to show some rememberence of the day.
People like Cyber Altair and infectedsoul and many others that posted hate filled comments on a day that has meaning to many people and not just americans.
I belive its all of the film images that keep the shock and horror of the day so fresh in many peoples minds.
Unlike many other similar events of recent history, this one was completely captured on film and keeps opening the wound each year.
But to say that Americans do not care about any other countries painful memories is completely untrue.
Out society raises more personal contributions for disaster relief than the rest of the world combined.
And our standard of living doesn't account for all of it.
We genuinely care and as a whole would never direspect the feelings of people in other countries in regards to days of national mourning there.
So to people like Cyber Altair and Infectedsoul I proudly say, as a American Citizen,
F U and your hate mongering.

isnt it worth honoring those who lost their lives tho?

I dont think because people didn't put that they are being disrespectful. I am in the Navy and my ship was one of the first on site for the incident, we were outside of DC and the next day New York. I play MW2 and didn't put 9/11 on my clan tag. I will always remember and never forget that day, will always honor those fallen, not only because I have respect for them, but because I was involved with it. I definitely see your point and it really cant hurt to do it. I just dont think it defines if you if you decide not to put it up or forget to change your clan tag
