Jailbroken ps3: check
FTP and Backup man.: check
mw2 and 1.11 patch: check
ability to transfer and override patches: check

so i am all set up but theres one problem. i open my frshly downloaded sony patch and open it in hex. i copy and paste the codes from the modded one into the new one. everything works i put it back on my ps3 and restart. then i jailbreak again and open mw2 and go to private match but there is no mods. wtf. so i try another patch, still no mods. wtf. so i decided to make sure i was editing the right patch and decided to take the get in get out patch posted earlier that i think is for xbox, and copy and paste it into my patch. well after all that mess i started mw2 and when i clicked multiplayer screen stayed black. so i am editing the right patch its just my mods wont work. any ideas please comment

Your supposed to be changing the patch_mp.ff in the IW update.

Replace your patch_mp.ff with one that is modded.

I can't go more in depth cuase I just know the way, I haven't personally done it.

i have done that but if i drag someone elses patch into my ps3 everytime i go to multiplayer it freezes thats why i just copy and paste the mod patch into mine like the tut on the other page says and the mods just wont show up

I don't know. It is just FTP. You should be able to do it numerous ways.

You have to paste in both BLUS30377 and USRDIR, there is a patch_mp.ff in both, replace both, and you got working mods

i've the same problem ,after i edit the patch_mp ,ive a blackscreen.
i think the patch is only for blus30377 ,if your game isn't this type of bl ,it wont work.
my game is blus 30429 and it doesnt work .
if someone can mod mine ,i will rep and give all my vbux

have you tried using them in split-screen?? uhh and one more thing do you mean it freezes when your at the mod menu???
