I was being dumb, then I just need a modded patch, where I can be sure off its a good one, I can also just download a random one and test in split screen, but thanks for helping guys, should've thought of it (how does firmware want to remove modded data from my ps3 anyways..) Well, if you guys can find me the godlymodz patch which everyone is using, free lobbies for everyone lol. My jailbreak doesn't really mind me, I dont download games anyway since I only play mw2 and cod 4.

dude i can only find the pc version of the patch so unless your good at editing its not use i dont think and yes text in splitscreen offline before updating incase it hasnt worked... ill keep looking
it may help to ask someone with a challenge lobby running already

edit the patc on 3.41 and upgrade to 3.4 and youll be able to host lobbies aslong as there isnt a new mw2 patch
