but after you do ur challenge lobbies or get bored, can you get rid of it then play mw2 normal again if you know what i mean ?

Yes, if you delete the patch, you will be asked to download the original, unmodified patch as normal.

EDIT: Once you do that, you won't be able to host modded lobbies on that PS3 anymore (until firmware 3.42 is hacked or bypassable).
