(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If you were to completely restore your PS3 system, would you have to install the latest firmware? Which would let you install the 3.41..

but dosent it ask u if u wnt to install 3.42?and if u say no to tht and manually install 3.41 will that work?

I'm 95% positive that firmware is stored somehow away from the HDD's grasp so it can't be un-done.

The firmware is stored in the PS3 Nand.. Only way to downgrade or whatever is do get a infectus chip on it and use there program to downgrade.
