I did update my PS3, but I have two so it's no problem for me.

But lets just say for a moment I only had one PS3, and it was updated to 3.42. Personally I wouldn't send it off. I watch movies and TV shows every night with Netflix, I wouldn't want to be without it, even if it was just for a week. I mean it's only MW2 hacks of which most only work when you are host, not worth the trouble to me. Especially when IW could release a patch at any moment and render the hacked patch mostly useless.

Although I bet there would be some who might go for it.

no, he's just saying he knows how to transfer the modded patch from a 3.41 PS3 to a 3.42 PS3. Very SIMPLE Procedure. Hint: backup utility via external hdd... haha believe it or not it really works. and theres also another way if you look hard enough on these forums you can find it too. its basically the same concept too; the only reason i won't state it is because its sooo easy to do and anyone can easily find it themselves.

id think about it depends how much were im sending it to n do i pay postage as well or that in price and how long it would take many factors and what do u do when u get ur ps3 bak

how about write a program and script a license in it and sell it? and that program would allow you to jailbreak ur 3.42 fw and inject pkgs? i would personally pay for that.
