Post: 3.50 - Data Transfer Utility Working
09-21-2010, 07:52 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello There,

With the recent release of firmware version 3.50, many have been sceptical about updating with the worry of not being able to use the data transfer functionality to copy patches across from 3.41 to 3.50.

I can confirm I've just successfully transferred my data from my newly-jailbroken 3.41 PS3 to my Slim PS3 running 3.50. I'm in LAN Party and the patch is working successfully so I can only assume it will work when PSN is back up and I'm able to go online.

I'm in the process of recording everything and I'll upload a video when done but I can 100% confirm that you're able to upgrade to 3.50 and still be able to transfer from another PS3 running 3.41!

Hope this is of some settle to you Smile

Matt

I doubt he has another way of doing it. Even if he does I dont think anyone will care unless he shares it.

so that justifies his douchbag greediness?
elitemossy or anyone of his kind are restricting the ps3 scene from advancing.

im xzxero from the wii scene, and ive literally helped hundreds if not thousands of people successfully modify their wii all sorts of ways.

just because i know how something works, doesn't mean i should keep it for myself and offer a "service" to other people.

these people who know about ps3 hacking should be teaching the community that valuable information so anyone can come in and pick up some skills and pass on the knowledge.

for example, why is compression of the patch such a problem to everyone?
because these fools don't properly teach the scene how to and decide to keep the knowledge to themselves.

selfishness will impose obstacles to the scene.

stop being dickasses and spread the info!

get remembered for something cool not being a greedy "hacker" who keeps everything to themselves.

you dont see team twiizers, comex or waninkoko keeping exploits private and exclusive do you?
