I'll give the bypass tutorial. I think its easier and I've done it tons of times.

What you need:
I. PS3
II. Patchblocker v1.0
III. The hacked files...or you can make them yourself. Whichever works.


Steps:
I. Create 2 offline (splitscreen) accounts. Name them whatever.
II. Go off mw2 and copy those files to a USB Drive.
III. Go on your computer and delete the GRAD0_MP from both of the files from the ps3. Replace those files with the GRAD0_MP that you downloaded from the internet.
IV. Go off your computer. Next is the hard part (Its easy once you figure it out)
V. Open up patchblocker on your computer. Do not hit Start yet.
VI. Go to internet connection settings on your ps3 and choose CUSTOM.
VII. Go down the line, dont change anything, and stop at Proxy Server Settings. Choose Use Proxy Server.
VIII. Input your IP Address. The port should be 8080.
IX. Now click x and keep going down the line till the summary page.
X. Hit START on the Patchblocker.
Edit: Now delete the patch 1.11 from Game Data Utility
XI. Hit X on the summary page
XII. Sign into PSN
XIII. Open MW2.
XIV. Go to splitscreen again and load up the account that was instructed for you to open first (I'm not sure because the names of each may be different).
XV. You WILL get an error msg. Its normal.
XVI. Go back into it and prestige
XVII. Another error msg. Its normal.
XVIII. Load up the other hacked file and back out of splitscreen
XIX. Go to multiplayer.
XX. You should be the prestige level 70 before the prestige you have chosen. (EX: 6th Prestige level 70, if you choose to go to 7th prestige.)
XXI. YOU MUST PRESTIGE TO KEEP THIS!!!!
XXII. Prestige and enter a ranked match while bypassed.
XXIII. Leave the match after a few seconds inside it.
XXIV. Now undo the bypass by setting your proxy server settings to DO NOT USE. Shut off patch blocker.
XXV. Your done
