I guess I'll give my opinion on boosters (noun) and boosting (verb).
Boosters, in my view, are those that have challenges uncompleted that take a long time to complete or are difficult. I have never heard anyone say that they boost for fun.
The challenges are usually weapon unlocks (camouflage or attachments) or perks, but in some lobbies you will see some other types of boosters.
I think that boosters in general are completely fine if they don't spoil my game. By this I mean that if a group of boosters want to lock a barebones lobby, or if they want to get eight people into a FFA that are all boosting - I'm fine with that.
The trouble comes when they start to play in doubles, and boost to kill those that are not already boosting (I.E Two players boosting in domination for a nuke). This does spoil that match for those playing.
So my opinion on boosters is that there is nothing wrong with them, as long as they have consideration for others that play the game and are not boosting.
The act of boosting itself I find to be the same as boosters themselves.
Boosting is something I don't deteste, and the reason for this is because the unlocks are cosmetic and I can easily match whatever they unlock. All my perks are pro, I have a lot of weapon masterys...basically they are not one better than me. As long as boosting gives them no advantage in a battle against me, I don't care if people boost.
In conclusion, if boosters are boosting, as long as they are in a lobby of their own with other boosters, there is nothing wrong with it.
