If i jailbreak my 3.41 ps3 and do all the patch editing and stuff, can i keep my 3.41 update on the jailbreak ps3 and transfer the patch to my 3.50 somehow - so also meaning that i have one ps3 always on 3.41 and then use my 3.50 to play the hacks. thanks

You can update to 3.50 and you wont loose your JB Ect.....

But cant you only JB if you have 3.41 firmware?

Yes you can keep your PS3 on 3.41 FW for Jailbreaking, just use FTP server to get ur modded patch on there from ur computer, then do a data transfer between 2 ps3's, (will format if you transfer, so back it up) that's how I done it and my jailbroken ps3 is still on 3.41

the patch is automatically transferred when you do the data tnasfer to the other ps3, Just make sure thats the only thing on there or it will take a long time to transfer, no other games or video's music
