(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); can mossy's patches be copied direct into you HDD image?

if so, how do you make up the extra data, ie my patch.ff is 243kb and mossys and others are 227kb

if i remove a block of 00's in the middle of my patch it becomes 227kb

is it possible to add the patch and add the 00's to the end to make the image the correct size and stop corruption ?
