(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); K i do not know if this will work but i was JUST WONDERING...... if we had a ps3 on 3.41 and hooked the PS3 hdd to the computer through SATA cable opened it up on the computer and found the MW2 1.11 patch... couldnt we just make a modded one and replace it with the one on the hard drive and plug it back in and go to LAN??? i dont know if itll work im trying to get a ps3 with 3.41

ya i figured i would have to jb it which im trying to do x[ i was just thinkin that might hav been away around jb....

but it is sooooooooooo much easier to just jailbreak

then why would you want a system on 3.41 ?
IF you get one on the right firmware, then at least use the only (publicly) succesful hack for ps3 :p

i know its easier just to jb but i might not get a ps3 on 3.41 so couldnt i just install the patch if i hooked up my hdd to pc with sata and replaced the reg patch with a modded one?!?! on 3.50 btw

Brendanj had a whole thread with updates on his progress, but eventually he gave up because it just couldn't be done..

& then the JB was released

ah okay guess thats my only option... so do u know if the fw is on the hdd? if so ima do this method this guy on ngu posted he said u could play online with 3.41

firmware is stored on both HDD (system partition) & NAND (which is untouched after format HDD)
so putting a new HDD in your ps3 & upgrade to 3.41 will NOT work, as the NAND knows you were on 3.50 previously..
