Before it was patched all you do is load 2 different offline profiles onto your ps3 and login to one then the other then goto main menu and login to the 2nd one again and voila!

Offline profile as in the profiles for splitscreen in MW2 not a PS3 profile.

But it has been patched and now I think you have to bypass the patch using Resistence: Fall of Man but don't quote me on it im not sure about after patch but before patch it was easy and all you needed was a Flash Drive. But now it is different.
