Post: No mods after replacing patch, help?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, can someone please help me, I have looked in alot of threads and no answers, most problems tend to be the "black screen".

After I replaced the normal patch with a modded patch, I used Mossy's and the Havoc Undead v6(Bushigan?) patchs, I replaced the normal patch using the new file manager tool but after restarting the PS3 when I go into Split Screen or LAN Party, the mods aren't there?

How do I check as I can't go online for a private match? Should I use Data Transfer Utility and then go online and will the mods be there?

Thanks, I followed The Ends guide but instead of FTP, I used the USB way. I can't access Private Match as stated in his guide.

My disc code is BLES 00683.
My 60GB PS3 is on 3.41, jailbroken using a PS3Break usb.
My 80GB PS3 is on 3.50.
All I did was replace the patch, no copy and pasting use Hex or other programs.

dont do that. Get the modded patch select all of it and copy make sure its ps3, go to your ps3 with ftp on ps3 and filezilla on pc then navigate to usdr then patch_mp.ff. then open it and select all (highlight) then paste write. should work.

^Hey, I did that afterwards as well, I copied Mossy's patch and then pasted it into my patch that I got off the PS3 using Hex Workshop. I went into Lan and Split Screen and the modified patch didn't appear :S

That method doesn't work. To prove it didn't do anything, I copied over the normal MW2 patch from PS3 to my USB, the awesomefilemanager showed that the patch file was on my USB but when I went to my laptop, the patch wasn't on the USB so I can assume the program doesn't copy over patches in the first place.

I replied in that thread and another guy had the same problem.

I'm using USBBreak USB but I also got a PS3Break USB.

I'm on 3.41, lol I'm not that much of a noob, I could hack PSP, install .prx plugins etc and iPhone's sooo easily on first go, the long method back in 2007 xD. Just this MW2 challenge lobby is causing me problems.

I've got Backup Manger, FTP server and the awesome file transfer programs installed.

I just want to hack on the 3.41 and then transfer the patch over to my 3.50 PS3 80GB. I transferred anyway but no mods appear in Private Match.

No, just a normal game, I know for a fact I've transferred the patch back over to PS3. I've had experience with WinSCP and Cyberduck so I know how to use FTP and other SSH programs.

It's Mossy's patch that I opened it Hex WS and copied over to my patch and then uploaded that back to the PS3. Turned PS3 off, switched of from back, removed the USB, turned PS3 back on and went back into MW2, went to Lan and no mods.

I guess I'll try again tonight or on weekend or something as my PS3 light keeps flashing red and turns on for about 5 minutes before giving me a message about getting too hot and turning off. I doubt it's getting hot when the fans on nearly full and pushing out hot air at the back before going cool because the fans pushing hot air out so quick.
I never got this "hot" error before, only after I jailbroke it.
