Ive been called one before, but i'm not sure exactly what it means.

Does it literally mean, 'A person who tries hard"? Because if it is, how is that a bad thing. I like to win, who doesn't.

Tryhard:
Someone who plays like they're playing in a GB in pub matches. Someone who doesn't know how to have fun, and someone who mostly uses the UMP.

So your saying that people that are good are tryhards? Some people are just naturally good at CoD. Like kids who have played FPS games since they were 7....

i guess to the noobs who are trying to find any reason to why they suck, yes. but to me you've probably been playing since the first cod's, so all these people that say try hard are gay to begin with. i just tell people who they are, noobs, because thats all that plays mw2 now.

I can see what your trying to say but most of them points are not tryhards. Admitidly dropshots are tryhard, but when they first started being used they were the SHIZZ. Stuns are usually used by most people who aren;t complete crap at the gae because they are thrown quicker and they explod where yo want, no in the air.
Semtex? Really? they are they best equipment for getting kills but that doesn't make them tryhard.
For UMO w/ SP, it's more the case of UMP with anything. UMP does some serious rape with any Perk setup.
SoH on assault riffles? Again, Really? In SnD they are pretty much the best perk tier 1 for AR.
Ninja on all classes? For the third time, Really? It's the best perk in the game for SnD and it has been since CoD4. It is and will always be massivly used because it is a great advantage to the user as it stops you walking around like some guy who is like 9ft tall like you do when you walk in CoD. If any perk is "tryhard" It's commando, I mean I love the Pro part of commando but EVERYONE knows how stuipid the actual perk is. I raged at that perk on release date :p
But I do agree with you on the headset, however I'm getting my Px21's next week and can't wait.

This is not raelly a :FU: or a :carling: but may of your points are usually what a sensible CoD player does, not a tryhard.

I always get called a Try-Hard. It's probably because I rape when I rush, and flank on SnD, I sound whore if you don't use Ninja, I actually try to defuse the bomb, I use guns like the ACR, SCAR, and Vector (My no-recoil babies), I dropshot for every close range kill (Thanks to Tactical BL), I rock the Hardline UAV; C-UAV, and Pred, I'll throw C4 at you from 50 feet away and kill your camping ass, I'll die with no stun grenades left, I use the Glock Akimbo, I'll actually DEFEND the bomb, and DEFEND the bomb laptop if I find it. I say DEFEND, because it's like tactical protection, not camping. So, My name is Solo---Shooter, and I am a Try-Hard.

No just they actually brag and say or yell all those things. I'm not a tryhard but I am naturally good because as you said, I have been playing First Person Shooters for quite a while. Good peopel aren't tryhards, jusst the ones that say they are good.

My def of a tryhard is someone who runs with 10 sensitivity, UMP, marathon, lightweight, ninja on an objective based game. And then sends me hate mail calling me a noob for using a gun that is not the UMP. And if your spectating them you see them jumping off things doing 360's trying to look good or something.

lol i do random 360's when i'm using the intervention, i'll just 360 and shoot, and 360 throw a knife, i never get anyone i think its fun to do
