Yeah ninja is cool for that reason i guess with the pro $180 dollar trittons id go with ninja :p

i've been using sitrep, because mainly on SnD all the people that know better use ninja so you can't hear them coming anyway, unless you got your headset cranked way up there. I have the trittons and even with it cranked its hard to hear them coming, i like sitrep because then you really know someones around because it lowers your team mates footsteps and turns up the enemies, so i'd rather use sitrep. no one really uses the HBS anymore. and if i get killed by one in SnD i'll just use a class with ninja instead next round
they are both really good perks, but sitrep is the more useful out of the two. if you don't want people sound whoring you i found out this technique, crouch while walking and you make less noise, aim while walking and you'll do the same.

agreed, i find it more usefull because you can see claymores/ c4's. if i do get killed by a HBS, ill just switch to a ninja class. If i know someone is around me ill crouch which makes less noise. then that helps your aiming sence your not sprinting and it makes it so your footsteps arnt as loud.

Ehh still id rather run around with ninja and hear the people who don't have ninja on, i just use it to hear thoese without it. You dont really need to soundwhore everybody, thats just effort.
Thats why i said sitrep is better for camping or moving through the map slowly cuz then you won't hear your own footsteps when ads'ed/crouching.
Glad to see were not flame warring ea other for the first time lul.
