hardline's actually pretty good when you find what setups it works with

It's just a waste of a perk IMO. It'll help you for one kill. That's it. Perks like Cold Blooded and Stopping Power will help you for many kills.

how would it help you with one kill? you need two kills to have the perk work for you for just uav. seeing how you put cold blooded i'll use that as an example, hardline and cold blooded do not help you like stopping power, it'll take the same amount of bullets to kill with either perk. cold blooded is worth it when theres air support other than that its pointless. i don't know about you but i want the enemies to come for me when they have uav up in the sky, thinking i'll be an easy kill when i'm not.

Hardline is most effective in game modes SnD and FFA. In SnD, that 1 less kill for a UAV, or Care Package really helps. If you spawn snipe, then you'll probably get 2 kills there in one round if you know what you're doing. In FFA, it is won by mainly killstreaks. The best FFA killstreaks are the UAV, C-UAV, and Predator Missle. If you can know where everyone is, you'll be golden. If you can cancel everyone's radar, then you won't need to use a silencer, and they will not be able to see your shots, or see anyone else's shots. The predator missle is probably a tie with the Harrier, but I'd go with the predator, because it takes only 4 kills with hardline, and can get a kill or two 90% of the time.

Now, for those who need a Hardline Class.

Try the RPD Grip, with SoH Pro, Hardline Pro, any 3rd perk, with a Claymore.

The UMP45 Extended Mags, with Marathon Pro, Hardline Pro, Commando, and a Semtex.

The M16 Holographic Sight, with One Man Army Pro, Hardline Pro, any 3rd perk, and a claymore.

Best: Cold Blooded Hardline
Worst: OMA

Best: Tied between OMA (when you actually use it like you're supposed to) and Ninja

Worst: Scrambler (It's hurt me more than helped me overall.. :\ )



I recommend using the ACR w/ fmj, OMA, Hardline, Ninja, and Claymore. Since the damage is 30-20, getting 1 less shot per kill with Stopping Power isn't really that much better when you need to hit 4+ times. The M4A1 also doesn't need Stopping Power to be effective (although I've always used it with). While the F2000 also has the 30-20 damage range... It just seems really weak without Stopping Power.. lol

The RPD has 40 damage for any range, so I actually highly recommend using Stopping Power, and never ever use a silencer).

The UMP probably is the (second) best gun for Hardline, since the only time Stopping Power helps is at really close range and through walls.

The M16A4... while pretty overpowered, I still like using it with Stopping Power, since you can get 1-burst kills with it almost all the time (especially if you follow the target).


The WA2000 is the best gun for Hardline, unless you want to shoot through walls using fmj, or you're using a silencer.

Best: SoH/ Sitrep (sitrep bro with my turtle beaches are awsomeness)
Worst: Scrambler

worst: commando, danger close
