Now does anyone know why no prestige or de prestiging doesnt work on ps3? (via hacking lobbies etc.) its because of the Default_mp.self. like xbox 360 it has a prestige check and other things.

if you try prestige in game it will say something about the host and a security error (cannot fully remember).

also on a side note im sorry for saying this would stop mw2 hacking... as i didnt know it was mainly for prestige checks etc. (but thats the past now)

alright what i believe we should do is all people on ps jailbreaks etc. start to work on the default_mp.self and trying to crack the encryption. (i believe unkn0wn would be a great asset. if he has time)

this could then lead to other things in black ops... like getting around alot of other security problems that they could be throwing at us in the default_mp.self on that.


Idea's please but no noobs. This isnt going to be easy. but if we get enough people we could figure it out....

Yeah that is actually a good idea. :S but we are going to need to get help from ps3news and so on.

This belongs in the black ops section as the main topic is black ops. It does talk about mw2, but the main idea is Black ops. So I think it should be moved, but it's your decision.

for B.O. try editing the patch to where your time goes up since the prestige system is based on time

wont BO require ps3 update 3.50, or is there a way around that?

and lastly as i said unkn0wn would be a great asset. it doesnt mean this cannot be done without him.... all we can do is research and use logic... how else have hackers cracked encryption before??? anyone agree.
