What exactly are you asking? To make a challenge lobby you need 2 playstations, 1 with 3.41 with a modded patch, and another with 3.50 thats legit and fully updated. From there you goto settings> system settings > data transfer and transfer all the data from the hacked 3.41 ps3 to the legit 3.50. From there you can play online with the hacked patch on the 3.50 ps3.

What I meant is it possible to have someone's ps3 backup, and then transfer it over to my playstation's by using a usb/external harddrive?

No that wont work, although you can use data transfer with a 3.50 that has a modded patch and a 3.50 that doesnt just make sure you transfer data the right way :confused:

No it wont work with a usb or external drive but you can use data transfer from the jailbroken ps3 into your updated ps3 and the only thing you need is ethernet cable.

Just kind of throwing ideas out here, but could it be possible to create a program which mimics a jailbroken ps3, the transfer the patch from pc to ps3? Or would you need to launch mw2 to install the patch?

Or maybe creating a program that changes the mac adress from the backup of one ps3, what i mean is that when you put someones else backup on your ps3 your ps3 says that the backup is from another ps3 and it recognized because of the backup mac adress that is diffirent from your ps3.
