I want to thank juddylovespizza for finding the backup method to load and unload MW2 patches smoothly and fast.

My theory is.
Somewhere in the ps3 backup file , there has to be a file telling the backup that it is specifically for the original ps3 that backed it up.

Just maybe if we would be able to get any knowledge as to what file it is and how it reads/tells what PS3 to read. We probably could edit the file, letting it backup to another PS3.

back ups are specific for each ps3 , there is NO way you can use some 1 elses back up , you will waste your time even trying to work it out .

Yea but in the backup there is a file checking for the ps3 id and serial #. Just have to tweak around.

ok this wont work as it was patched agaes ago lol but its the 1st to files that contain the ps3 specific data and the other 2 contain the data your trying to copy over, you used to be able to just copy the last to data file over to a backup from another ps3 and it would work, but sony patched it as people where gamesharing.

HA i already tried it, it doesnt work
