I am about to by the USB PSJailBreak for about 49$ but I have a ps3 on 3.50 and my friend's on 3.40,Will the Jailbreak work on firmware lower then 3.41?

And will the MW2 Mods still work if my friend'd PS3 is on 3.40?

You have to update it via usb with the Firmware download on Sony's site.

The Firmware download must be 3.41. The Jailbreak ONLY works on 3.41.

And the mods don't rely on Firmware, so technically a mod can work on ANY firmware, its just a matter of getting that mod working with mw2.

So in summary, find the download for 3.41 on Sony's website and install it on your ps3 via USB Drive. I do not have the link.

So sorry But I know that its the method because I did it myself a while back....I just haven't used it in a long time.
