(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); SO you wanna be host all the time.
Well here is a tutorial on how to do just that.

1. Pick a game mode with at least 6,000, but preferably 10,000+ players in playlist to reduce chances of getting merged with another lobby.
ex. 10,000/75823 players in playlist

2. Enter a game and watch the top right corner of screen closely.
ex. 25.0%-0/24 good games
25 potential games found

3. When you enter the game, immediately press circle and up on the D-Pad as if you were going to exit the lobby. This is to back out quickly just in case.

4. Watch the 0/24 good games. The zero needs to remain as is. If it changes to any other number, back out and repeat steps 2 and 3. After a few moments with 0/24, matched players will enter the lobby.

5. After four or more matched players enter, you will be able to see their PSN. Once they are visible, immediately vote to skip map. If to much time passes by and at the top its showing either: finding best host or merging lobby, back out and repeat steps 2-5. If lobby fills and your vote is still there you will be host. Even if vote passes your host.

6. Once match starts, quickly choose your weapon class and if you get a countdown from 14 seconds you are definitely host.

Hope this tutorial has been helpful to many of you. Took me a few try before I got the hang of it. Sorry no screen shots. I'm not a camera man, lol

Many thanks to SWEEZY

NAT is open, my connection is perfect, ...
but still, i'm not host all the time..
i just use the % in clan tag..
make sure your lobby doesn't merge when it looks for players..
as long as it stays on the same map you started on, you should be good to go.. refresh your clan tag every now & then, as it doesn't change automatically..
then there's no guessing, you KNOW if you're host or not Smile

no offence bro but you are so wrong. if the lobby dosent merge, and the map stays the same. you will still see the finding best host top right corner and only then will the host be chosen.

You are COMPLETELY WRONG. It still depends on your connection. Hell I can't get host even with a lag switch and believe me I know how to do it I tried it in a friend's house and it worked fine with his connection. No matter what it comes down to your connection.

lol another so called expert lmao. nat type open does matter, but your speed dosent, its completely random. belive that. 85% of the time first one in the lobby will be host (unless you have other items using bandwith like a cpu , or a cable box etc causing spikes in your signal.

Whats your connection?
How fast?

if you have a upload of 1-2 mb download of 1mb it should work for you also, as long as your nat type is open. not sure about routers thoe as i dont have one, any serious gamer will tell you a direct link to the modem is always better anyways. if you use a router and have problems just go strait to the modem then.

This doesn't give you host. It's just you trying your luck on getting host.

once again wrong, its acctually making your luck. even if you have to do these steps 15xs before it works you will be in a game as host in less than 3 min, never be put into a game in progress, and it works everytime. thats not what i call luck.

anyone with a direct conection to a modem, and an open nate type that is having problems making this work just pm me and i will help you figure out the problem. happy lagging

Last week my NAT type was Moderate, and i couldnt host like normal but i reset my router and now its Open. The only settings ive messed with in my router is port forwarding. So maybe if you have unnecesary ports open, it laggs your connection(?).

(Ports i was forwarding - Ventrillo + Minecraft)

This is assuming you dont have a patch. Just playing legit, but if someone else in the lobby has the patch with force host, well then obviously your not host..
