This one was played and hated/complained about more than any before but what was really the issue?
Was it that they tried to stuff too much shit into it. Was it the game design itself that failed, with it's killstreaks, weapons, and perks?
Or was it the people who play it?
Who used every advantage the game offered.
Or was it the popularity of the series that brought a ton of new players who wanted to be as good as the you tube videos they watch?

Cod4 was buried with honors, COD6 may have it's ashes thrown to the wind,
But the people playing the COD series have changed and I doubt if they will change when Black Ops comes out.
Hopefully the game will not be as exploitable but if so the series will die with Black Ops.

Next cod for me will be MW3. I will not be buying black ops.


Regarding the game or the people who play it and how they play, I would have to say the latter.

Some of the people I encounter while online and how they play really is annoying. Like said earlier, hopefully these types of people will fester on b/opps and mw2 gaming online will improve

It all comes down to the developers, people wouldn't run around with commando or head glitch with a zero recoil ACR if the option wasn't available to the players. Plain and simple Infinity Ward messed up, they're the root of the problem.

I say it's the players they want to "seem" cool through the game which made it fail. I'm not talking about the people that do funny sh*t i love those guys and i happen to be one of them, but the quickscopers, 360 scopes, and etc. is what i think made the game go wrong.

Easily the players. The Noobtubing fags are the biggest issue that hurt the game. But it didn't ruin it they way exaggerators will lead you to believe.

The servers have gotten TERRIBLE tho. I was on pace for like 70 kills and the game ended for "Host Migration" aka someone got tired of getting raped so they turned the game off.

But yeah, the players by far. The game itself is pretty good

It's definitely the people that play it for sure. Think about it. Using OMA as a first perk is incredibly useful if you don't abuse the heck out of it. Pairing OMA and Danger Close just... well you know how that goes. The only thing that Infinity Ward jacked up was Commando. They should have a different perk there in the 3rd spot. Like COD4 they could make it RPG x2 and the pro version could be RPG x3. There is no reason that there should be a perk where you can teleport knife and/or fall from 50 feet and not die. Commando pro is stupid. Someone jumps of the top of the building everyone "snipes" from at Karachi and doesn't die? Like really? C'mon now. I get it's a video game but it's supposed to be realistic right? But the overall thing that made MW2 bad would be the community. Camping for killstreaks, OMA Tubing, MLC Knifers, the list goes on forever.

Black Ops will be exploited to the max.

I think that is definately the community and those kidz who put one man army and noobtubes or run around with a tactical knife and commado that make the game bad. At first I had fun playing MW2 and it was actally an enjoyable but after some DUMBASS discovered the obe man army combination people started to abuse it and now you go in a ground war match and 95% of the people NOOB TUBE thats why after breaking about 5 controllers I just quit MW2
