Be careful not to update to 3.50.

If you do go past, your screwed

if you have the right things it's free

ALL you need is the jailbreak ps3 on V3.41 [ do not let it go past this update] or you are screwed. But yes it has to be V3.41. And as long as you have a flash drive usb i think the jailbreak file can be uploaded onto the flashdrive and used that way.. none the less the jailbreak is only around 20 dollars or so.

you will also need a 2nd ps3 on 3.50 [obviously]
and a ethernet cable.
