(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is basically my thread saying goodbye to one of the best love and hate games of the decade. Even thought noob tubes, one man army, danger close, and commando made us want to throw our consoles away we all have to admit we had an awesome time with mw2. We all spent a large amount of time playing this game that now almost everyone hates. We all had fun at the beginning playing legitly, then finding those awesome glitches that were later on patched, then hacking it, from bypassing the game to have fun with some glitches and doing the prestige hack to creating modded lobbies, we all have to admit even hacking was fun.

This game that now almost everyone hates changed the gaming community from youtube to forums. Let's start off with youtube, before mw2 all you could see was montages and 3 or 5 commentaries, the video game community in youtube wasn't that large, but once mw2 came out thousands of gamers all over the world started recording their games and putting them in youtube, I think mw2 changed the whole gaming community in youtube.
Now let's talk about the rest of the internet and the forums the mw2 completely changed. Let's start off by talking about NGU before mw2 in one year the forum had grown by about 100k members and after mw2 the forum grew by about 250k members, I think if it wasn't by mw2 this forum would've never been this big. After NGU started growing because of mw2, hundreds of other forums appeared trying to be the home for mw2, hundreds of websites appeared just to give hacks and modded lobbies.

Mw2 not only changed the internet but I think it also changed many of us. I want to start off by talking about me before mw2. Before mw2 I had a ps3 and cod 4 and w@w because my sister's boyfriend at that time used to play those games so he gave them to me to start playing them, sometimes I tried playing online but I used to suck A LOT, so I only played the campaign, until in w@w my friend wanted to play the game and we started playing the multiplayer campaign, after a few days playing the campaign i started looking for call of duty videos on the internet and found out about a new call of duty coming out, when it came out I went and got the game and I started playing the campaign, then my little cousin came to my house (he was 9 years old) and told me to play split screen with him, he always used to beat me  anyways one day I came to my room and he was playing online and he asked me why I was level one, and i told him that I didn't even know about the online mode, so that day he left and I started playing, like a total noob i went negative on almost every match. Then i started getting a little bit more better and then I found out about hacking, which is the reason I joined NGU, after joining NGU I became a better player and had more knowledge about the game, then I started watching commentaries and so on... And now I'm basically a hardcore gamer, so my point is that mw2 made me a gamer, that basically changed part of my life i think.

I could keep on talking on how mw2 changed us but I think I wrote a bit too much... sorry  But i want to know how mw2 changed you! What has changed since you started playing mw2. I think this will be a good way to say good bye to mw2 and hello to Black Ops.

Even with all the ups and downs, from pretty much raping the game, to trading it in for £10 i gotta admit I had a good time. It mainly changed me in the hacks and exploits section. I became more of a serious modder after that. Awsome thread btw, really made me think about the times ive had with MW2

i mean we all have our up and downs in everything even in games, and right now everyone is like hating on the game, so i just wanted to remind everyone how this game changed us all.
