(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well i seen so many help threads for filezilla, and i seen something called smartFTP. I checked it out, downloaded it and tested it and it works great. Works really good if your trieng to transfer files onto your own website or if your trieng to transfer patches. And it seems like i dont have as many problems when using it as i do with filezilla.

Anyways, someone else test it out and leave some feedback.

I fail to see how it would be faster than FTP

I edit patch, launch ftp. Send it all of half a second. launch the game...that whole process takes me all of 5 seconds.

If I used USB everytime i would have to edit patch copy to usb move the usb to the ps3 launch file manager copy the patch over..

Now I know/use USB on my 'finished' patches. I make a backup of my ps3 with it installed.

but if your editing and testing. ftp is 10 times faster (for me)

Of course, all this depends on your setup.

but its faster for the less intelligent that dont edit patch's and only use pre made ones... if you get what i mean

just use comgenie awesome file manager, and transfer from your usb flash drive, no need to be hooked up to network

FTP is soooooo much easier than usb..
my 2 ps3 are connected to a switch, so i don't EVER have to change anything in my setup..
they're connected to network anyway, so FTP is the logical solution.. & transfer to 3.50 works with the switch between them (internet connection is also plugged in in switch)

so why would i go through the trouble of having to go back & forth with the usb drive while i can take my notebook & do it wireless ?

btw: i use Firefox as FTP client :p FireFTP addon & it's SUPEREASY Happy
