The ps3 im using thats on 3.50 is my uncle's ps3 and he wants it back soon the f****** d*** lol(sorry about that) and so i thought maybe if i done the same as you do when u change the patch on mw2 from the system setting>Backup Utility>Restore. So maybe if you do that on the 3.41 everytime you put a patch on and it works can i do this then update it and i can change patches to what ever one thats on my usb flashdrive?, Thanks!

As long as all the backups come from the same ps3. and you are restoring them on the same ps3.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It should work just fine.
