i have mw2 on PC (steam)
i take it from my friend
and installed on my pc

i need to edit the patch to test somethings
but i read when you make moded server you will get VAC banned ..

is there way to change steam to AlterIWnet ?
or is there other way to test when i edit the patch ?

Right you don't need to be on AlterIWnet to do this. Just have Mw2Liberation. It keeps you protected from VAC if you have it selected. Also VAC doesn't ban you if you are loading patches unprotected in a private match.

So basically: Mw2Liberation is the way to go .
